ভাব, অর্থাৎ ভিজ্যুয়াল আর্টিস্টস অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অব বাংলাদেশ, বাংলাদেশের শিল্পী ও শিল্প-সংশ্লিষ্ট মানুষের একটি সম্মিলিত, অরাজনৈতিক, অলাভজনক ও সবার জন্য উন্মুক্ত মঞ্চ। আমরা শিল্পীদের মধ্যে যোগাযোগ গড়ি, পেশাগত বিকাশে পাশে থাকি, আর বাংলাদেশের চিত্রকলাকে দেশে ও বিদেশে তুলে ধরি।VAAB, the Visual Artists Association of Bangladesh, is a collective, inclusive, non-political, non-profit platform for visual artists and art-related people in Bangladesh. We connect artists, support their professional growth, and carry Bangladeshi visual art to audiences at home and abroad.

দৃশ্যশিল্পী, শিল্প-শিক্ষক, কিউরেটর, গবেষক, লেখক, ডিজাইনার, ফটোগ্রাফার, সংস্কৃতি-সংগঠক, শিল্পপৃষ্ঠপোষক এবং শিল্প-সংস্কৃতির বিকাশে আগ্রহী যে কেউ। পেশাদার পোর্টফোলিও বাধ্যতামূলক নয়, তবে এই ক্ষেত্রে আগ্রহ ও সম্পৃক্ততা দেখাতে হবে।Visual artists, art teachers, curators, researchers, writers, designers, photographers, cultural organisers, art patrons and anyone keen to develop art and culture. A professional portfolio is not required, but applicants must show interest and engagement in the field.

প্রতিষ্ঠাতা পরিষদFounding Council

যাঁরা ভাব প্রতিষ্ঠার দায়িত্ব নিয়েছেন, তাঁদের নিয়ে গঠিত একটি স্বতন্ত্র পরিষদ। এটি সংগঠনের প্রতিষ্ঠাকালীন দর্শন, নীতি ও দীর্ঘমেয়াদি দিকনির্দেশনা রক্ষা করে। পরিষদের ক্ষমতা, সদস্যের যোগ্যতা ও কার্যপ্রণালী অনুমোদিত গঠনতন্ত্র ও সংশ্লিষ্ট নীতিমালায় নির্ধারিত।A distinct body of the people who took on the responsibility of founding VAAB. It preserves the founding philosophy, principles and long-term direction. Its powers, membership criteria and procedures are set out in the approved constitution and related policies.

অনুশীলন, প্রদর্শনী, প্রকল্প বা প্রকাশনা আছে এমন শিল্পী ও শিল্প-পেশাজীবী। আনুষ্ঠানিক শিল্প-ডিগ্রি লাগবে না।Artists and art professionals with practice, exhibitions, projects or publications. A formal art degree is not required.

তরুণ শিল্পী ও স্টুডেন্ট সদস্যYoung artist and student member

শিক্ষার্থী, সদ্য স্নাতক ও নবীন শিল্পী। পোর্টফোলিও বা আগের কাজ দেখাতে হবে।Students, recent graduates and early-career artists. A portfolio or earlier work is required.

আবেদনের ধাপHow to join

  1. অনলাইন আবেদন জমা দিন এবং সদস্যপদের ধরন বেছে নিন।Submit the online application and choose a membership category.
  2. আপনার প্রোফাইল ও পোর্টফোলিও পর্যালোচনা।Profile and portfolio review.
  3. প্রাথমিক বাছাই।Preliminary selection.
  4. প্রয়োজনে আলোচনা বা সাক্ষাৎকার।Discussion or interview, if needed.
  5. চূড়ান্ত সদস্যপদ ফর্ম।Final membership form.
  6. অনুমোদন।Approval.
  7. সদস্যপদের ফি পরিশোধ।Membership fee payment.
  8. সদস্যপদ নিশ্চিতকরণ। এরপর আপনি সদস্য পোর্টালে ঢুকে ডিজিটাল কার্ড, নোটিশ ও রসিদ দেখতে পাবেন।Membership confirmation. You can then sign in to the member portal for your digital card, notices and receipts.

ফি দিলেই সদস্যপদ চূড়ান্ত হয় না। সদস্যপদ নির্ভর করে আবেদন, কাগজপত্র যাচাই, নীতিমালায় সম্মতি ও অনুমোদনের ওপর। অনুমোদনের পর ফি পরিশোধ করলে আপনি অর্থ-রসিদ পাবেন। আবেদন ও সদস্যপদ সংক্রান্ত নোটিশ ইমেইলে জানানো হবে।Paying a fee does not by itself finalise membership. Membership depends on your application, verification of documents, agreement to our policies and approval. Once approved and the fee is paid, you receive a money receipt. Notices about your application and membership are sent by email.
